My brother, Keegan Basset, is the latest artist to contribute a sea monster. Sea Monstre is now a family affair!

Hey everyone. The official deadline for submissions is going to be December 14th. That gives you a little under a month left to submit artwork. I'm incredible pleased and excited about all the artwork that has been coming in.

We were linked on Brooklyn Vegan yesterday which is a very cool site.



Cornish has also granted our publication some money to help with printing and production, so things are going well!

Martin Ernstsen has contributed a great sea monster. His artwork is great and I definitely recommend that everyone check out his work.

As more and more submissions come in, I am going to keep some a mystery, so here is a sample of his monster.

There are a lot of submissions on the way thanks to the Pitchfork article and fellow students at Cornish. I've seen lots of great stuff in progress and I can't wait to see the finished results.

I'm meeting with a funding board on Friday with a proposal to obtain money to help with supplies and printing. Hopefully everything goes well with that so that we will have enough money to print copies to distribute on the Internet.
